How Does it Work?
What does getting a pattern look like?
When you decide to get a pattern, we begin by sending you a questionnaire to fill in with stories from your past where you felt proud of yourself. You may fill in as many or few as you like, but we request at least 8. After the form is submitted, we sit down with you and ask questions about the stories. Then, we go back through your answers and interview and run the assessment, generating a report of your giftedness. Finally, we present the report to you, answer any questions, and if you’re interested, help you determine a good job fit. Let’s Get Started!
Can my spouse / boss / best friend / parent attend the interview with me?
First, we commend you for being willing to be so vulnerable with the people in your life—that is indeed a strength. However, we keep the interview portion of the giftedness process limited to only the person whose interview it is, primarily because we don’t know what kind of stories you will be sharing (and you may not even know!), and we don’t want to get into a situation where something you may impact your partner / friend, so you filter what you share. It’s very important that you’re honest, so we can accurately identify your giftedness. You are more than welcome to invite anyone to your final report meeting—in fact, we encourage it! The more people who understand your giftedness, the more likely you are to thrive.
Why should I work with you instead of taking a free online quiz?
While free personality assessments are a great tool, they can also be tricky to get accurate results. For example, how do you answer the questions, “Do you like to hang out with friends or do you enjoy being alone?” For most people, the answer is, “It depends! I like hanging out with friends sometimes, and then some nights I want to curl up on the couch with a good book or a movie.” Which answer, then, do you pick? Likely the one that matches who you want to be. Giftedness doesn’t have this user bias problem, because we don’t ask you any either-or questions, we simply ask you to tell us about times in your life when you felt like you were doing an amazing job… at whatever mattered in that exact moment! Then, we tailor the report to you. Do you have one motivation or three? It doesn’t matter what the last person had, what matters is who you are and how you’re wired.

Right now, the whole world is facing uncertainties. While we can’t promise that knowing your giftedness pattern will protect you from harm, we can assure you that now is the time to know what motivates you best, so you can focus all your efforts on activities where you get the highest return on investment. This will make you a stronger employee, strengthen your relationships, and ultimately help you navigate the new world we’ll all be facing on the other side of this pandemic.
